Srinivasa Reddy Kandi Strengthens Congress Base with Fresh Joinings in Satnala Mandal:

Adilabad, Satnala Mandal: The Congress Party witnessed a significant boost in its strength as nearly a hundred people formally joined its ranks in a program organized under the leadership of Tumram Chandra Shaw. Adilabad Assembly constituency in-charge Kandi Srinivasa Reddy attended the event, where villagers and Congress cadres extended a grand welcome, marked by traditional dappuchappulu (drumbeats).

As part of the program, Kandi Srinivasa Reddy first paid homage to the legendary tribal leader Komuram Bheem by garlanding his statue in the village. He then personally welcomed the new entrants into the Congress fold by offering party scarves, symbolizing their integration into the movement.

Addressing the gathering, Kandi Srinivasa Reddy came down heavily on the opposition, particularly targeting current MLA Payal Shankar and former minister Jogu Ramanna. He asserted that Jogu Ramanna’s political career effectively ended with his defeat in the last election, questioning what meaningful contributions he made to Adilabad despite serving as MLA for 15 years. Reddy alleged that Payal Shankar is widely known for “settlements and land grabbing,” with accusations of land worth several crores being misappropriated.

Highlighting the Congress Party’s welfare measures, Reddy recalled that 3,500 Indiramma houses had already been sanctioned in the first phase, and he assured that every eligible person left out would be included in the second list. He informed that the process of issuing new ration cards has already been initiated across Telangana to support the poor and needy.

Reddy emphasized that under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the Congress government swiftly implemented several promises within just nine days of assuming office. These included:

1. Depositing ₹9,000 crore farmer insurance funds directly into farmers’ accounts.

2. Launching free bus services for women across the state.

3. Ensuring 200 units of free electricity for households.

4. Providing rice and employment opportunities for youth.

5. Initiating the loan waiver scheme for farmers.

6. He further underlined the Congress government’s commitment to social justice, mentioning the 42% reservation for BCs, which has already been passed as a special ordinance and sent to the Governor for approval.

“The Congress Party is a people’s government that works for every community,” Reddy declared, adding, “Indira Gandhi gave houses to the poor, but what did your leaders give in return?” He urged party workers and villagers to stay united and strive for victory in the upcoming local body elections, reaffirming that Congress alone stands for development and welfare.

On this occasion, GCC Chairman Kotnaka Tirupati and TPCC Vice President Atram Suguna also addressed the gathering. They strongly criticized both the BRS, which ruled Telangana for ten years, and the BJP-led central government, accusing them of failing to deliver tangible benefits to the people. Several other leaders and activists were also present, marking the event as a significant step in consolidating Congress’s grassroots strength in the region.
