Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has acknowledged the club's summer acquisitions may face an early exit from Chelsea in January:

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made the move to the Blues from Leicester for a fee of £30 million in July, reuniting with his former manager Maresca. Despite this, he has yet to make a start in the Premier League, having played only 55 minutes in the top division. However, he has made an impact in the Europa Conference League, where he has scored two goals and provided an assist in six appearances. His second goal came during Thursday's 5-1 victory over Shamrock Rovers at Stamford Bridge.

Following the match, Maresca was unable to guarantee that Dewsbury-Hall would remain with the club for the latter part of the season. The Italian stated, as reported by football. Dewsbury-Hall currently finds himself behind Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, and Enzo Fernandez in the team's hierarchy. The 26-year-old, a product of Leicester's academy, joined Chelsea with nearly 200 senior appearances, including 80 in the Premier League.
