Srinivasa Reddy Kandi: ServiceNow Expands AI Strategy with New Anthropic Partnership

ServiceNow Expands AI Strategy with New Anthropic Partnership:

ServiceNow has announced a new multi-year partnership with AI research firm Anthropic, coming just one week after revealing a separate collaboration with OpenAI. The move underscores ServiceNow’s aggressive push to deepen AI capabilities across its enterprise software platform.

Under the agreement, Anthropic’s Claude family of models will be more tightly integrated into ServiceNow’s AI-powered workflow products, becoming the company’s preferred AI models. Claude will also serve as the default engine behind ServiceNow Build Agent, the firm’s AI agent builder that enables developers to design agent-based workflows and applications.

The partnership extends beyond customer-facing products. ServiceNow plans to deploy Claude across its internal operations, making the AI available to all 29,000 employees. In addition, Anthropic’s Claude Code — a developer-focused “vibe coding” tool — will be rolled out to ServiceNow engineers to support software development.

ServiceNow did not disclose financial details or the exact length of the partnership. However, the agreement signals the company’s intent to diversify its AI alliances while accelerating the adoption of advanced generative AI across both its products and workforce.
