NHS Technology Supplier DXS International Reports Cybersecurity Incident:

DXS International, a UK-based healthcare technology provider serving England’s National Health Service (NHS), has confirmed it was impacted by a cybersecurity incident.

In a statement filed with the London Stock Exchange on Thursday, the company reported that it detected a security breach involving its office servers on December 14. DXS said it acted promptly to contain the incident in coordination with the NHS and engaged an external cybersecurity firm to investigate the scope and impact of the attack.

According to the company, the incident caused minimal disruption, and all frontline clinical services continue to operate normally. DXS did not disclose further details about the nature of the breach or confirm whether patient medical data was accessed or compromised.

Meanwhile, a ransomware group known as DevMan has claimed responsibility for the attack. The group posted on its dark web site earlier this week, alleging it exfiltrated approximately 300 gigabytes of data from DXS on December 14.

DXS has also informed law enforcement authorities and relevant regulators, including the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and said investigations are ongoing.
