Srinivasa Reddy Kandi: Apple Plans September Debut for Its First Foldable iPhone

Apple Plans September Debut for Its First Foldable iPhone:

Apple is reportedly preparing to unveil its first foldable iPhone around September, potentially launching alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. According to a report by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, the company is still on track despite earlier concerns about possible delays during the engineering testing phase, as noted by Nikkei Asia.

While the device’s advanced design could result in limited availability at launch, Apple is aiming to release it either at the same time as its standard models or shortly thereafter. However, since the timeline is still several months away, the final schedule could change.

Entering the foldable smartphone market would mark a significant shift for Apple, allowing it to compete more directly with established players like Samsung and various Chinese manufacturers that have already introduced foldable devices.

Apple’s version is expected to bring improvements over existing foldables, particularly in areas like display quality, durability, and minimizing the visible crease when the phone is unfolded—issues that have challenged current devices.
