 At present, I believe Glasgow is operating at a superior level. They thrive in high-stakes matches and are unlikely to be overly concerned about this particular game, as they will be confident in their ability to secure a favorable position to take to Murray field for the return leg. Conversely, I anticipate that the significance of the occasion will inspire Edinburgh to perform at their best.

This match holds greater importance for them, as it presents a valuable opportunity to gain an advantage over Glasgow. It is likely that they are feeling a sense of frustration as they observe their rivals celebrating the URC trophy and performing well this season. Although they may not openly express it, many players from Edinburgh are likely envious of Glasgow's recent successes. For the Glasgow team, this match represents an opportunity to play at home in front of a significantly larger audience.

While Scotstoun has served the club well for over ten years, accommodating just under 8,000 spectators, this event will allow them to perform before an audience exceeding 25,000, the majority of whom will be Glasgow supporters, which should provide a considerable boost to the team.
