Martine McCutcheon has reduced the asking price of her marital residence:

The former EastEnders actress, 48, disclosed in August that her husband Jack had left her after 18 years of marriage, just days after she posted an emotional birthday message for him.

It was later revealed that the couple had listed their £1.5 million home in Surrey, where they lived with their nine-year-old son Rafferty, for sale three months prior, in May.

However, after seven months without a successful sale, the asking price has been decreased by £250,000, bringing it down from the original £1.5 million to £1.25 million.

Martine and Jack, 40, now appear poised to incur a loss, having initially bought the property for £1.3 million in June 2022.

The price reduction follows closely on the heels of Martine's cryptic Instagram posts, which seemed to be directed at her ex.

Recently, Martine shared a series of quotes on her Stories, including one where she expressed her intention to "keep the faith and look forward" following her separation.

In a particularly pointed message, she re-shared a quote stating, "Sometimes, healing means telling people to f**k off," adding her own affirmation: "Absobloodylutely!"

She also posted a poem that read: "And all this time, you thought you were falling apart, you didn't realize you were actually putting yourself back together." Accompanying it, she encouraged others to "keep the faith. Look forward - not back... and smile... you WILL be OK... Maybe even better than OK."

Martine announced her separation in a statement that noted, "After much thought and consideration, Jack has decided it's best for us to separate after 18 years together, and I accept his decision."
