This position is hybrid with one in-office day per week. Candidates from Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia are required.
The office is located in Reston, VA.

Overview:
Our client is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Scrum Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating ETL processes and MongoDB data changes, as well as designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts. This role requires strong programming skills and expertise in test automation tools to ensure the quality and functionality of the software.

Responsibilities:
Validate ETL processes and MongoDB data changes through testing.
Generate and manage reports using Jira.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
Perform daily API and UI testing.
Participate in code reviews and requirements analysis.

Required Skills & Experience
A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the work experience listed below.
A minimum of 3 years of software development experience in an object-oriented language.
Expertise in Selenium for test automation.
Strong programming skills in Java.
