Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead a large-scale cloud migration program within our payments network, specifically focused on tokenization services (supporting Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.). This individual will play a critical role in driving execution of a multi-year modernization effort, moving from a hybrid/on-prem setup to a fully cloud-based architecture in AWS and OpenShift.
The role requires someone who combines deep program management expertise, technical acumen, and executive influence skills. You will partner with engineering leaders, architects, and executives to design, plan, and deliver complex migration efforts while ensuring scalability, resiliency, and availability of solutions.
You’ll join a centralized engineering delivery team of technical program managers and collaborate with 15–30 development teams across multiple workstreams.
Required Qualifications:12+ years of program/project management experience in large, multi-layered technical environments.
Proven experience delivering cloud migrations (AWS strongly preferred; OpenShift experience a plus).
Strong ability to communicate with both executives and engineers, including creating narratives, presentations, and technical discussions.
Hands-on ability to design migration/deployment plans and guide engineering teams.
Experience managing large-scale programs across 15–30 development teams and multiple workstreams.
Strong skills with JIRA, Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with GitHub for architecture documentation.
Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering or STEM preferred; strongly required for FTE conversion).
