Role Summary:We’re seeking an experienced Infrastructure / Data Center Project Manager to lead and deliver mission-critical infrastructure initiatives for our client. The ideal candidate is a PMI-certified professional (PMP) with a proven track record in managing complex, end-to-end data center projects — from new builds and hardware upgrades to migrations and consolidations.
Key Responsibilities:Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive project plans (WBS, schedules, risk tracking, etc.).
Oversee infrastructure and data center initiatives — new builds, expansions, upgrades, and migrations.
Coordinate across security, network, storage, and application workstreams.
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of hardware, cabling, and configuration.
Track and report milestones, risks, and dependencies through regular executive updates.
Ensure adherence to data center standards, operational policies, and security guidelines.
Oversee budgets, resources, and vendor deliverables to maintain cost and schedule control.
Conduct post-implementation reviews and ensure seamless transition to operations.
Required Skills & Experience:10+ years of PMI-certified project management experience.
12+ years managing large-scale infrastructure / data center projects.
Strong technical understanding of servers, storage, networking, cabling, power, and cooling.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors.
Strong risk, budget, and dependency management skills.
Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar PM tools.
Certifications Required: PMP (Project Management Professional) and PgMP
