The AI-Powered Sticker Printer That Turns Kids’ Ideas into Art:

Sticker box is a new AI-powered creative toy designed for kids — and despite initial skepticism, it turns out to be surprisingly delightful.

Created by Brooklyn-based startup Hapiko, Sticker box is a voice-activated printer that transforms a child’s spoken idea into a printable sticker. Kids can then color it, peel it, and stick it wherever they like. What sounds like a simple gadget ends up being a refreshing blend of imagination and technology.

At first, both I and my young tester (my daughter) weren’t thrilled about the concept. “An AI that prints stickers? I’d rather draw them myself,” we thought. But after trying the review unit, the hesitation melted away. Sticker box doesn’t replace a child’s creativity — it amplifies it. Kids still rely on their imagination; the AI just helps bring their ideas to life in a new form.

The device is priced at $99.99 and comes as a small, bright red box with a black-and-white display and a big push-to-talk button on top. Inside the package, you get three rolls of paper (enough for 180 stickers), a power cord, and colored pencils.

Its retro look is reminiscent of an Etch A Sketch — but instead of turning knobs, kids use their voice to guide the AI. They don’t think about prompts or engineering; they simply play, imagine, and watch their ideas appear instantly.

Setting up the device requires a parent’s help. Much like configuring a smart speaker, you connect to the Sticker box’s Wi-Fi temporarily, input your home network details, and you’re ready to go. The whole setup process takes about a minute.
