Meta Connect 2025: What to Expect:

Meta’s biggest annual conference, Meta Connect 2025, kicks off Wednesday evening. The spotlight is expected to shine on the company’s new AI-powered smart glasses created in partnership with Ray-Ban and Oakley, though additional announcements may touch on the Metaverse, Quest headsets, and broader AI initiatives.

Meta has already sold millions of its Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, and earlier this year, it introduced Oakley-branded AI glasses designed specifically for athletes. With Silicon Valley pushing deeper into AI wearables, Meta is positioning itself as a frontrunner in the space.

This year’s event is especially significant as it marks the first Connect since Meta launched Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL), its most ambitious AI program yet, led by former Scale AI CEO Alexandr Wang. Industry watchers are anticipating updates from MSL executives on the lab’s progress.
