Traditional Activities at the Batukamma Festivities in Adilabad:

Kandi Srinivasa Reddy, the Congress state leader, attended the Batukamma celebrations in Adilabad town, specifically in Kailash Nagar, Balaji Nagar, and K Colonies, accompanied by his wife, Sai Mouna Reddy. They engaged with the community by visiting the Batukammas, participating in traditional dances, and singing alongside the women. The residents of the colonies warmly welcomed them with harathi and flower showers. Saluva and Pushpa were honored with bouquets. Following this, they visited the Sharada Devi mandapals to perform special rituals.

Numerous Congress Party leaders and activists, including former DCCB presidents Mudupu Damodar Reddy, Gimma Santosh, MA Shakeel, YT Sunny Reddy, and others, were also in attendance. They visited the Batukammas, joining the women in dance and song. The colony residents extended a warm welcome, presenting harathi and showering flowers. Saluva and Pushpa received floral tributes in recognition of their contributions. Subsequently, they visited the Sharada Devi mandapals to conduct special rituals.
